Open to work, the 3 roles I'm built for

Rob Vasquez·

I'm open to work, and I'll save us both time. Here are the exact three roles I'm built for.

  1. Senior full-stack engineer. I own features end to end: schema, API, UI, tests, deploy. React and Node/TypeScript are home. I've run this loop hundreds of times across 20+ apps in one monorepo.

  2. AI engineer, applied. This is shipping LLM features into hostile, real-world input streams with the guardrails that keep them from breaking. Job matching, document extraction, computer vision behind clean interfaces.

  3. Founding or platform engineer. The person who sets up the shared libraries, the deploy pipeline, and the multi-tenancy, so the next ten features are fast instead of each one starting from zero.

What I'm not chasing is a role where I only touch one thin slice and never see the whole system. I do my best work when I can own the seam between problem and product.

Remote-first. Comfortable across the stack and unafraid of the unglamorous correctness: money math, tenant isolation, adversarial inputs.

If one of those three is a hole on your team, DM me. I'll send the project that maps closest to your problem.
