I built the AI that matched me to your job

Rob Vasquez·

The tool that surfaced your job posting to me? I wrote it.

It's called ApplyPulse. Every night it pulls fresh roles from Indeed, WeWorkRemotely, Hacker News, and a couple other sources. It scores each one 0-100 against my resume and tags it apply, review, or skip, with the reasons and the red flags spelled out.

I didn't build it to look clever. I built it because I was tired of reading 200 listings to find the 5 worth my time. So I encoded my own judgment into a matching engine and let it do the first pass.

Here's the part most candidates never think about. If I can build the system that decides which jobs deserve my attention, I can build the one that decides which leads deserve your sales team's attention, or which invoices need a second look. Same muscle.

You're hiring someone to turn messy real-world signals into decisions software can act on. I've been doing exactly that, on myself, as a nights-and-weekends product.

Curious how the scoring works? Reply "match" and I'll walk you through it.
